Mervin Venkatraman was recently appointed as the new Manager of NPC Aggregate’s Margate Quarry following the retirement of Dr. Clarence Russell.  Mr Venkatraman has more than 20 years of experience in the quarrying environment.
 
In addition to managing Margate Quarry, Mr. Venkatraman’s responsibilities will include maintaining the substantial distribution fleets of both NPC Aggregate and NPC Concrete on the South Coast.  NPC Aggregate Managing Director Avi Bhoora says, “Considering Mervin’s strong background, we believe he’ll make a very positive addition to our team.  He has particular strength in the engineering and production aspects.  This, in turn, will help us to attain our goal of continually improving our level of service and quality to our customers.”
 
NPC Aggregate as well as NPC Concrete have both recently experienced significant growth.  Expansion has seen new tipper trucks and earthmoving equipment added to the NPC Aggregate fleets.   New mixer trucks have also been added to the NPC Concrete ready-mix delivery fleet.
