Our lab technician gathers crushed aggregate for testing.

We test our quarry aggregates to ensure that our crusher output meets the aggregate sizing standards as prescribed by the South African Bureau of Standards. As a unit of the province’s market-leading cement manufacturer, we also draw on the scientific expertise of our parent company.

Local laboratory testing is supported through the guidance of Concrete Technologist Rolf Schutte from the NPC corporate Durban central laboratory. Additional technological support is available to our corporate staff from our multinational parent company Cimpor, of Portugal, one of the world’s leading cement producers.
